How to Install

CentiLeo is distributed as an archive via Download page. This archive has several folders for different Cinema versions. Each folder has all necessary plugin files and should be copied to the Cinema plugins folder.

  • Extract downloaded archive
  • To install CentiLeo for Cinema R21 you should copy CentiLeoR21 folder from downloaded archive to the plugins folder of Cinema 4D, e.g. to “C:/Program Files/MAXON/CINEMA 4D R21/plugins/” (or other custom plugins folder).
  • For older Cinema versions use the other CentiLeoRXX folder copy.
  • Run your Cinema 4D and select CentiLeo renderer

Known issues

These features were temporarily broken during latest versions development:

  • Dirt shader
  • Directional/infinite light source
  • Adaptive noise-based image rendering (where pixels are no longer rendered when specified noise level is reached)
  • Very limited material converter tool (diffuse color + texture of C4D material)

Installation

  • Extract downloaded archive
  • To install CentiLeo for 3ds Max 2020 you should copy internal content of CentiLeo2020 folder from downloaded archive to the plugins folder of Max, e.g. to “C:/Program Files/Autodesk/3ds Max 2020/plugins”.
  • For older 3ds Max 2019 use the content of another folder CentiLeo2019 and so on.
  • Run your 3ds Max and select CentiLeo renderer

Known issues

  • Very limited scene converter tool (Multi Sub-Obj Material, 3ds Max Bitmap, only diffuse color and diffuse texture of material are converted to CentiLeo)
